Some of you have reported that your antivirus flagged the game as a potential virus during download or launch. First of all, thank you for your vigilance — and most importantly, don’t worry: this is a false positive.

Why does this happen?

Antivirus software uses algorithms to detect “unusual” behavior in files. A small, independently developed game — especially if it was recently compiled and not digitally signed — can easily be mistaken for a threat, even if it’s completely harmless.

This is a common situation, especially with:

• Games developed using engines like Godot, Unity, or Unreal, particularly when they’re new or not yet widely distributed.
• Recently created .exe files that haven’t yet been recognized by antivirus databases.
• Games distributed outside of major platforms (like Steam, Epic Games, etc.), which can trigger extra scrutiny from antivirus software.

What you can safely do:

• Add the file to your antivirus’s whitelist or exclusion list.
• Use online virus scanner services like VirusTotal if you’d like a second opinion.
